About my free verses for cards

Welcome to my blog of free verses for cards.
Most of us appreciate a nice greeting card don't we, & a lot of us prefer to have a verse inside the card too. The problem is, we don't always want the verse that comes with the card. We perhaps like the card front, but want to change the inner verse. You can do that with the cards in my store, but what if you can't compose your own greeting card verse? There are lots of verses for cards on the internet, but many of them are the copyright of the verse composer.
Here on my blog, verses for cards for free, I have composed all of them myself, so you need have no worries about intellectual copyright.
The only thing I ask, is that if you want to use a free verse commercially, please contact me first so that I know where it's going to be used.
If you do use one of my free verses, it would be nice if you would bookmark my blog, or better still, put a link on your blog, website or social networking page!

Christmas Homecoming Verse

I know it's early, but I'm already thinking about my card verses for Xmas.
To that end, I realised that there are lots of people who work away for one reason or another, students, service men and women, a lot of whom will be coming home for Christmas.
What better way to let your loved ones know that you'll be home with them this Xmas, than with a verse?
I also have a card in my store that has this verse inside...

There's a place that I keep in my heart,
It's so special...because of you,
I think of it when we're apart,
Wherever I am, whatever I do,
It means so much, this time of year,
For all sorts of lovely reasons,
But coming home, having family near,
Just makes it the best of seasons.
