About my free verses for cards

Welcome to my blog of free verses for cards.
Most of us appreciate a nice greeting card don't we, & a lot of us prefer to have a verse inside the card too. The problem is, we don't always want the verse that comes with the card. We perhaps like the card front, but want to change the inner verse. You can do that with the cards in my store, but what if you can't compose your own greeting card verse? There are lots of verses for cards on the internet, but many of them are the copyright of the verse composer.
Here on my blog, verses for cards for free, I have composed all of them myself, so you need have no worries about intellectual copyright.
The only thing I ask, is that if you want to use a free verse commercially, please contact me first so that I know where it's going to be used.
If you do use one of my free verses, it would be nice if you would bookmark my blog, or better still, put a link on your blog, website or social networking page!
Here's the first of the free verses, and I will be adding more regularly, so please pop back & check it out.

Free verses for greetings cards ...

Happy Christmas everyone, here are a couple of freebies you can use in your greeting cards ...

Life is like a sailing ship,
Upon a sea of dreams,
Some days are stormy, dark and cold,
No cheer in sight it seems,
The hours are long and lonely,
And joy seems far away,
No sky of blue, no warming sun,
Your world is tired and grey.

Then one fine dawn, the storm abates,
And all is calm and clear,
There's light on the horizon,
The future holds no fear,
You find your hope and inner strength,
Your happiness is real,
When that day dawns, you'll realize,
You're on an even keel.

May all the love you've given, And all the things you've shared, And every kindness that you've shown, And all the times you've cared, Come back to you in many ways, Especially today, For you are just the greatest mom, In each & every way, When you became a mother, God blessed you with the things, That makes a mom just perfect, An angel without wings.
