About my free verses for cards

Welcome to my blog of free verses for cards.
Most of us appreciate a nice greeting card don't we, & a lot of us prefer to have a verse inside the card too. The problem is, we don't always want the verse that comes with the card. We perhaps like the card front, but want to change the inner verse. You can do that with the cards in my store, but what if you can't compose your own greeting card verse? There are lots of verses for cards on the internet, but many of them are the copyright of the verse composer.
Here on my blog, verses for cards for free, I have composed all of them myself, so you need have no worries about intellectual copyright.
The only thing I ask, is that if you want to use a free verse commercially, please contact me first so that I know where it's going to be used.
If you do use one of my free verses, it would be nice if you would bookmark my blog, or better still, put a link on your blog, website or social networking page!

Free birthday verse about over indulging

Here's a funny free verse that's ideal for a relative or friend's birthday card...

Drinking on your birthday,
Can decimate your liver,
Eating chocs & candy,
More weight will soon deliver,
Cup cakes, pie & ice cream,
Could really make you ill,
So, better not be tempted eh,
Although, I'm sure you will!
